Musical opinions are like arseh*les...everyone has one and no 2 are the same. Arguing about a subjective topic like music is pointless. THere are some vids on the music thread that I just shake my head and wonder who could possibly listen to that ......conversely some people who see some of my vid posts may be thinking the same thing as me (your wrong of course  )

It is pretty dumb to argue something soley based on opinion.  But if we all kept our mouths shut and got along all the time then this world(as well as the forum) would be a pretty boring place. Of course if you want to listen to 10 year olds argue about which band is totally more bitchin' go on youtube and read the comments.....of pretty much any video...

i dont mind these kind of subjects, things i leave alone are religion and politics  ive had too many aruments over these subjects in the past, so best left alone, but knowing peoples music taste is ok

I'd have to agree with Benner on this one.  RHCP is a top notch band.  Don't care for all their music, but love some and have to admire them as musicians.  Flea is considered one of the better funk bass players out there.  Matter of fact, I once owned a Flea model Modulus bass with the full composite neck and it played like a dream!  Loved it!  Won it at a charity auction for $800.00, played it for a few years, then sold it for $1800.00.  Easily a $2400.00 instrument.

On a side note, my aunt went to school with Anthony Kiedis' father and is still in touch with him.   So, you could almost say, I'm his distant, unknown second cousin, but in friends terms.

No argument was ever happening here, just a harmless exchange of opinions with some occasional jipes - but all in good fun.  The whole point of a forum is to discuss peoples differing opinion.  What is nice about this place is that threads such as these can exist without turning into arguments.  It's not every forum that a moderator can title a thread about how another member is wrong and not start a flame war!

ughhhhh, not getting my point across. By "argue" I mean to argue a point, as in a debate. I'm not implying there is a fight going on and me of all people be the voice of reason trying to break it up. If an when a fight starts I willl break out the popcorn
