Congrats - good get. I stared at it for 10mins debating if I should buy it. I decided not to for the same reason a coke addict decides not to start heroin. It was bad enough those damn 84mm knives sucked me in, I don't need a 108mm addiction, too.

Your willpower is obviously stronger than mine.  :D  I've always wanted a Mauser that was cheap enough to carry as a user.

A 108mm collection could get expensive these days...

Jazzbass, thanks again.  I owe you one!

I just received the Mauser in the mail, and it is like new.  Both blades have the original, sharp factory edge.  With just a bit of a cleaning I won't be able to tell it apart from my MIB one.

Oh, man... don't say that! You're supposed to say how it's just OK - you know, a nice user but that's about it - so I don't kick myself for passing on it!

Sorry about that.  ;)

My hopes of carrying it are somewhat quelled since it's in such good condition...  I don't think I can bring myself to do it since I have Safari Trooper beaters to use instead.
