Watched one of my new favorite shows last night - Fringe.

Excellent show in the X-files vibe.

Anyway, one of the characters - Peter Bishop used a Leatherman Skeletool to open a door with the blade and then used the pliers to pry open a secret passage.

I yelled to my wife when I saw the Skeletool and she just gave me a "sigh". :D

It's definitely the first I've seen.

If it's the first of all time.....I get credit!

You can go to Fringe's website and watch the entire episode if you want.  It's episode 3.

I would recommend the show, it's great fun!  Some creepy stuff too.

There was never a really clear shot of it, but I think these two screenshots should prove that it is a Skeletool.

No problem. Collecting SAK/multitool scenes in TV shows and movies is kind of a hobby of mine.

Man, I really need a new hobby.

What other screen shots do you have? Any from MythBusters?

I don't actually collect screenshots. I collect the full videos and then grab screenshots when I need them. I stopped collecting MythBusters episodes because they use their multitools so frequently. I still have a few episodes, if there is a specific scene you are looking for.

I might be able to find some. It may not be this weekend though, I'm off to Pennsylvania to visit my brother and attend a knife show.

Never heard of that show before, but based on the Wikipedia entry, it sounds pretty funny. What format are the episodes you have?

I've got a couple of screenshots of SAK's to upload but haven't had chance recently. One from Black Books and one from NCIS. Will try and get them up tonight at some stage :)

I pulled this one from a recent episode of MythBusters.
