Built a new notebook carrier .

I play a bit with both leather and Kydex , since I discovered fountain pens , I have come to enjoy using better quality note pads , they need some way to protect themselves from the rigours of the jobsite . Leather is great , but can be problematical around wet enviroments , and doesn't like abrasive substrate .

As a result I made a Kydex cover , it rides comfortably in the back pocket of work pants . It is actually fairly comfortable when sitting . Their is a kydex front pocket for things like scales and protractors , the pad holder acts as a clip for reciepts etc .

Since I carry in both back pockets , and the objects are fairly slim the symetry of the buttoxal universe is maintained . As i understand it , jacking one cheek higher than the other is the cardinal sin .

Kydex notebook carrier. Seriously? That is so much overkill that I can't help but love the crap out of it. It's one of those things where if you have to ask "why?" then you will never understand the answer. It's one of those things that in principal just sounds so ridiculous that it has no choice but to be awesome. I'm sure it works great, and the thought of a Kydex notepad is just too cool to not like.
