I have work, then football training with the kids tomorrow, then I have to take my son and his mate to Pride Park for 8am now 

Then I have to get back and load up the car

I don't think they're too keen on doing this thing at Pride Park, but he made a commitment and I'm making sure he honours it, even though it means a long day on Saturday for me Bloody teenagers 'eh?

OK, I have given the tent a quick inspection, washed up the Trangia, Kettle and mugs, found an airbed, sorted out my sleeping bag......

The Falcon II is the bag of choice this weekend, and is packed with change of clothing, FAK, wash gear, towel and fire-starting paraphernalia

The camera / Camcorder batteries are all on charge (we need some Youtube footage this year I think, so everyone make sure you do your makeup).

The logistics (2 phases) have been agreed to get the tool boxes to the car, but can't be put into action until all the childminding kids have left tomorrow evening......

That's a good start!

Pack extra dark shades (to hide my delicate eyes from mankini incidents) - check
Dinner plan loosely made - check
Valiantly battle the markets for veg large enough to chop with axes (you didn't think I was going to let you leave me to all the food prep did you?)- check
Enormous pan located and cleaned - check
Small amount of firewood stashed - check

Sort out excess camping equipment and list it on here in case any one wants to buy it - FAIL

Don't worry, I've packed my especially dark shades (sunglasses) so I won't be able to see them.

_{Anyway, I've heard that there are rabid jackelopes running wild near the camp site...don't let the lads know though, they'll all be too scared to wear their mankinis outside of their tents}
