2 knives.
on: May 22, 2010, 12:24:40 AM
Here are two similar and yet very different SAKs.

First up is a 700 year coffin scaled Wenger Traveler.

Next up is a Victorinox 4 Languages Climber. I am told this was a special run for a Swiss retail company.

The Graphics look somewhat similar.

A little Leatherman information.

I have had one of those 4 languages Climbers with the Edelweiss flowers on it for awhile now. I have been able to identify them as;
  • German/Swiss
  • French/Swiss
  • Italian
But the last one eludes me. Does anyone know what the language is for the bottom one of the 4? It should be one of the countries that borders Switzerland.  Svizra ???

Chacko; I also came across a Wenger Esquire with that same 700 Jahre logo on it. Still waiting for delivery of it.

The 4th is Romansh.

It's the 4th national language of Switzerland.

My Grandpa would speak it to my great uncle when he didn't want my Grandma to understand what they were saying.  :D

Of course she had already figured out what she needed to, but she let him continue to do as he wished.  :-X

EDIT: I feel I must apologize BIG-TARGET. I do believe I misread your original posting as a dig for not buying from him. I do believe I read that wrong.

I got them off of eBay.
