   ^  :D

Love the drill to the right. It looks NEW. :ahhh

I think we call them a 'Hand Brace' or a 'Brace and Bit' (with the drill bit)
Its a British made 'Comet No 110'
I bought it from a lovely old lady selling off her deceased husbands tools, all the tools were in good used condition, I think he might have died in his workshop  :salute:

Tony not the last sale  :( :( :(.

Do they now head in doors/under cover

Some of them carry on in car parks and old airfields Mat...... I might just have to follow  :D

Well mate, if you need a nice piece of seasoned ash to hang those bits just let me know.
I've cut two pieces, more then enough for 4 hatches. When it's fixed I'm gonna use the drawknife for shaping the handles. I'm quite exited to try it.  :)

Thanks Frank  (I will be replying to your mail shortly  :-[ )

Looking forward to seeing how these all turn out, that draw knife looks sharper now but not sure about the axes   the heads look darker now is it just the picture?

Did you see my replacement Draw knife above?  :D

Another Billyhook  :ahhh :D. Tony is your 'projects' box encroaching into your living room  :P :D :D. Not that my project box is getting any smaller  ::) :-[ :-[. I looked at my LM Pulse project today & promptly put it back into the box BUT I did finally sort out my ST300's gritty plier pivot, I needed to pull it apart & sand the pliers pivot face , only half of it got polished by the factory ??? ???

Bloody cold -4 here last night, So I surprised myself  by deciding to go 'booting'

A couple of 'odd' ones today
A nice looking Ax head wedged on to a bit of 2” x 1” batten with a metal strap nailed over
And a tiny, over sharpened, over hammered head with a tiny crack in the poll and a badly fitted handle (but the price was right   ::) )
Also another putty knife, hacking knife and ball peen hammer

Trying to get warm now  :ahhh
