What is going on with the Leatherman ES4? I haven't seen them on eBay.ca yet. Are they even out?

I've only seen one seller on Ebay U.S. that has it. Amazon also has it.

Claiming to have it.  I'm always wary of dealers I don't know listing new tools. 

For those that are relatively new to the world of multitool junkies, remember that competition can be fierce when it comes to new tools, and lots of sellers say they have products that they are themselves still waiting for.  However, as many found out with the Skeletool, these are often pre-purchases, and smaller dealer orders can be pushed back some time if initial stock levels are low.  For example, many that bought the first Skeletools ended up seeing them on shelves at their local Cabelas, Bass Pro, REI etc before they had gotten the ones they paid for months earlier.

You can see it happening with the MUT already too.

You often find the street price drops a bit after they've been out for a couple of months too - I'm only now looking at the new Squirts and Style models for example

I believe the Mut's are out this September? I would rather they come out sooner. I just figured that the ES4 would be out seeing that the PS4s are.

As for that single US dealer, he will only ship CONUS...not that it matters any.

Yes, the ES4's are out.  I've had all three colors from sometime in May.  The dealer I bought from shows some in stock now.

I just ordered from one of the U.S. dealers on Ebay. I just got an email saying that it was shipped. We'll see what happens.

Yes, things have changed in a short time. I just ordered a black, blue, and red ES4 off of eBay.
