I've been EDCing a KSF sheath for about two weeks and I like it a lot.  It does take a little working in, especially for a bigger knife like my large Stockman, but it solves the problem of having the knife drop to the bottom of my pocket or otherwise end up in a weird position.

I just ordered one of those - seems like the answer to my pocket problems too :)

I'm going to attach a clip to it I think, just not entirely sure how yet

There are two small grommets at either side of the opening, so that might help with attaching a clip.

That's how I have been thinking it will work - maybe attaching a small Ti dangler to it that way.

Amici,
As a recovering "slipaholic" I fear that this thread will cause me to once again fall off the slip joint wagon.. Before I became a MT maniac, I was obsessed with the slipjoint, the makers, types, and qualities of materials.. I would ponder what slip joint would be the most comfortable with jeans, slacks, or what slip joint to edc, or use in the field etc.. This finally came to an end with the advent of the MT but it still does bring back allot of stag handled trapper or congress patterned filled memories..

Although the bulk of my slipjoint collection from trappers to muskrats are no longer stored in my current bunker, I have found 2 favorites that I retained here and will like to share with you..

Here is a Colonel Littleton made Foxfire # 2 with stainless clip blade, brass liners and bolsters, with bone handles. After 20 + years, it's still the perfect little edc for the sharp dressed man in the corporate world..

The second is a stag handled Case Half-Whittler with 2 stainless steel handles. This also makes a great little edc slipjoint from the weight, grip, and is very pleasing on  the eyes as well..

With all my slip joints, I like to insert a piece of twine between the brass liners within the knife as well as a few drops of Rem-Oil. This ensures a nice sharp protected edge as well a added value against any rust or corrosion type elements which may be lurking about.

As for the continued edc of a slip joint, I think I came up with the perfect alternative, at least for me when it comes to the slipjoint, the MT and edc..
Cheers,
Serge

How did you get on with this?  If you are wanting a pocket clip, a Buck pocket sheath maybe what you are after.
I'm back!!

I have tried it with and without the dangler as a clip and it's actually fine without it.

I carry my mainblade and my phone in the same pocket, so it's more to protect to phone which comes in and out more. It works quite well and they kinda sit side by side in my cargos.

Having the knife pouch clipped meant I had to fiddle about more to remove it and then get it out of the pouch too - this system is simpler so far. The pouch itself takes a while to soften up but it's an excellent quality but of kit  :tu:
