Oddly enough, having a tough time getting a Ripstop MT.

Note: #06, 13, 17, and 45 are not made by Gerber to the best of my knowledge, but are heavily licensed (or stolen in the case of that fake DET) by/from Gerber...and thus they are included as part of this sub group...in my mind at least.

Thats a LOT of gerbers, got any knifes ? because personnally i like gerbers because of the flik (i actually have a Flik) action but i think that gerber is more a knife maker that decided to make tools...

No I don't...sorry.

I focus on multi-tools. Oddly enough, in my mind, a SAK is considered a multi-tool, and thus Vics and Wengers are also added to the list. Thank goodness I do not collect knives on top of all the rest...but I do have a soft spot for utility knives.

Really a KNIFELESS FUSE? Almost bought one for school carry but it looked more like a garden tool than an actually usefull tool (i caryy my ST300 ALL the time)

Just don't get caught with a knife blade at school. That can get messy quick if you know what I mean.

i worry when i go shopping on the way home from work, i carry a charge so yeah...

walking around with a lock knife isn't good if i have time i normally go home first then return, its just not worth it.

They know i carry my ST300 at school my director even asked me where he could buy one of those, and in Montreal a MT is the same as an OLFA knife. They just know that at school I wont just jiggle it around to show off and that I ACTUALLY use it since im the Go 2 Guy for everything, anyways, im still surprise about your EDC choice but its your opinion and not mine that counts !

In Ontario, you are not allowed a knife blade period at a High School. It falls under the Province wide Safe School's Act.

well im actually not allowed by the rules but even there, teachers are happy when i get my star driver out to tighen up their projectors! But personally even if I got into a fight or something its easier to leave the knife where it is or in worst case scenario use it as a last resort pressure point weapon or just throw it! (if you own a ST300 you will know what im talking about cuz its really heavy)

markn951, I can't tell you more then you already know. Operation Iraqi Freedom started back in 2003 (has it been that long?), so I know the date of this tool must be 2003 or thereafter. I also know that another member has a PST or some other Leatherman with the same symbol and saying. Either these are special runs, or sold in military stores, I do not know. Probably someone will know more about these and could fill both of us in. What I do know is that these are fairly hard to find. I was most fortunate to have come across this one. I haven't seen another since.
