I have not had that problem with my Wave+
But I have heard a lot of problems with the Free
I don’t think it is acceptable for LM to allow this to happen  >:(
I agree and especially at the price point! Sorry, I like MT's but I won't drop that kind of coin on something thats going to get locked up with metal shavings. Plus all the other problems read about

If it ain't broke...  :twak:

Quite happy with my old multitools. Returned my P2 for warranty before lockdown. Can’t say I miss it.

Just an update to the new sticky pliers head after the Wave Warranty, its getting better with oiling and working back and forth. It no longer takes two hands to open after squeezing tightly.

I'm getting happy. My Rebar was purchased 2 years ago and it's still hard to open. After a lot of use and daily carry at one time.

Maybe all the flick-a-bility MoJo was taken from the classic tool lineup and injected in the Free series to make it less suck

Got my 8th Wave today. Now i have 2 Wave+, 4 2nd gen Waves and 2 OG Waves.
My OG Wave what i got has snapped blade and 2 smallest flatheads is broken. Also one of my 2nd gen Wave is half dissambled cause i needed scissors for my Rebar.

Not sure yet, asked our warranty repair center if they can fix this one, they have bad habit to replace newer tool when sending old tools to warranty repair and i dont want newer wave to replace this one.

Good luck Antti! I’m hunting for a 2nd gen hybrid leather sheath. The one that allows pliers open carry and has the 3 pockets. I can’t believe how rare it’s become

Liking more everyday those blade exchangers, W! Hope I can get back to work soon, so that I can start budgetting for them.

For today, my 2nd. Gen. Wave and it's kit.
