Just as a head's up, Amazon is actually slightly less at $62 shipped.  Still, that's the going online rate, or thereabouts, at least, Chili.  :)

What is full US RRP? I paid about the UK equivalent of $65 :)

I would have thought they would have reduced them To Clear ::)

If they posted them here at a favourable rate they would be snapped up  :tu:

/Oh/ I read the post as the packages were mislabeled, or the price stickers were. ^^;  Neat find, definitely, then, Chili.  :tu:

[Edit:  I see how I became confused; I read "mislasered" as "mislabeled". ::)]

Yep, the tools themselves are mislasered.  I'll post pics of the one I bought when I can probably in the am

No problem, I know where you live!

Well...not really, but I trust ya anyway. :)  I'll go back today.  They also had some Red Leatherman Squirt P4s that were mislasered as "Leatherman PS4" and those were going for $25.00 down from $40.00 if anyone is interested in one of those.

I'm headed over there again in about 4 hours to pick up more for people so if you're interested in either the skeletools or squirts, let me know!

Yes.  They just have a big whicker basket full of them on the store counter.

I wonder if they were mislasered......or if some noob in the assembly dept simply grabbed a bunch of already-lasered scales from the wrong box?

I think they were mislasered. The reason is that on the PS4 scales, only one scale per side has a cut out. On the P4, both scales on each side have cutouts. Does that make any sense? ???

That is kinda cool and all, but when I can get a properly lasered CX from Amazon for the same if not slightly less $$$, LM will have to try a bit harder to get me to buy their mistakes. I suppose for a collector, someday it may be worth something, but since I use all my tools I'd rather spend the same money on one that isn't screwed up.

I have to agree with that  :tu:

It is a mistake, a flaw, an error so they really should be priced to clear.

Are they really going to be that collectable in years to come? I understand the collectibility of USA branded plier heads but that is completely different to this.

Nice one FC for doing this for the guys  :salute:

On a side note, didn't the prototype Freestyle have the carabiner or did I dream that?

Yeah I remember that. I am happy they changed it.  As it stood, there wasn't a whole heck of a lot different from the skeletool.

I think they could have come down a bit on their price given the missprint, not that it matters to me what they called it...
