Spyderco Endura question...
on: July 27, 2010, 06:49:46 AM
I've been wanting to get a Spyderco Endura with a ffg blade and frn handles... but I just have a question that I can't figure out searching.
With the frn handles, are there still metal liners in the handle?

Thanks!

Endura 4 has nested skeletonized steel liners.

The Pacific Salt, which is nearly identical in size and shape but has the older sabre-ground blade does not have the nested liners.  If you don't want liners, that could be an option.

I've looked at both.

I'd much rather have liners, so I am glad the Endura has some.

Thanks guys!

Yup, all new generation Endura-4's have the skeletonized liners. I have one of the FFG models and if you look close in my pic below you can just make out one of the liners and it's skeletonized holes.......
