Okay, I understand how a lazy bum can go pear shaped, but I still don't understand what's so wrong with a pear that it can be understood as a bad thing. :D

You've never tried one from my father-in-law's tree.  Tough enough that I've been tempted to carve me a pair of pear scales from them :P

Sometimes I don't understand British lingo. What's wrong with pears? =(

An example would be
You meet a bloke you have not seen for 5 years,

He;    Did you marry that bird, The one with an hour glass figure?
You;  Yes mate I did,
He;    how did that work out for you?
You;  Its all gone pear shape  :(

Disclaimer, I am not that bloke!  :ahhh
Everything’s adjustable

We all know Neil is Great to deal with, goes above and beyond, and does it all with kindness and British Humour.

I for one want to give Neil a special extra big THANK YOU for offering his collection here first. I'm sure it would have been easier and more finacially rewarding to do otherwise.  It's a pleasure to know you sir!
