Windows Server Gerber

I saw this one in Chapters the other day while looking for something else. I think I've seen it before, but never remembered to post it.

Looks to me like a Gerber MP 600.

I never could understand the use of random multitools in unrelated ads.
There's a section in the SAK book that has pictures of ads that have pictures of SAKs in them, and only 4 or 5 made sense.
For example, there is an ad for a cruise line that says "Neat Solutions" and above that is a picture of a red Skipper on a coiled up piece of rope.

Windows server I think used the Gerber to illustrate that it's a precision tool with multiple functions. Unfortunately the comparison isn't so good for Gerber!

How curious that a Gerber was used for their packaging when a large amount of Leatherman Pulses' were laser inscribed with the Windows Server 2003 logo.

Probably two completely different sections of the company, and like many companies, the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing!
Besides, Microsoft has enough money for
all
manufacturers!
