Note to forum and question for moderators.....

Hey gang. I came up with a new mod. It is an inline ratcheting adapter that fits into the large bit driver. I wanted to show it in action for you all so I thought about making a little video. I was going to create a youtube account so I could do so. Ok, here's my issue... upon creating an account it said my name was already taken! I searched and came to realize that yes, someone else in fact has evil510 on youtube. So, first off, I want to make it clear to you all that it is NOT me. Needlesstosay, this upset me. I will have to come up with another user name to create a youtube account. That is a non-issue. My issue is that I don't want someone else with the same user name somewhere else to take credit for anything that I am doing, nor would I want any trouble with others thinking that I am that person and be held aqccountable for any of their actions. If anyone is ever in doubt, please don't hesitate to ask me. I am also evil510 on candlepowerforums but I never post there so I am not worried about that forum. I don't have all too many posts on this forum yet but feel I have been establishing a name for myself here that most know me by. I know that ability to change your nickname use to be an option that got abused therefore that luxury was taken away. I didn't know which moderator to address this issue to, so I figured I would post it here and the appropriate one would reply. I would like to change evil510 to something else. Nothing drastic so everyone would still know it is me... I'd still want evil in there somehow, of course. If this isn't too big of an inconvenience to do so, I would very much appreciate it.....

I don't know where the 510 part comes from but if it's some sort of famous number (like 42, 666) that might explain why there's already a user with the name. Have enough users on a site and you're doomed to have repeated nicknames.

Have you thought about creating your own website for collecting your work? I know you've applied for patents to some of your creations and when the work is that serious it might be a good idea to have a website as the "original source" to your mods where you can put copyright and patent information etc, as well as link to your youtube account despite it being a different nick. evil510.com is not taken, for instance

And yeah, you definitely need evil in your new name  Some of the things you do to those Leathermans is pure eeeviiil

I'm pretty sure (though could be wrong) that 510 is his car. If I'm not mistaken his old avatar was a tubbed and caged Datsun 510 that did indeed look Evil.

thebullfrog is right on the money. I've drag raced cars all of my life. After having driven so many makes and models it is the one that I have grown an affinity for.....

I already have a site for the other things that I do. I am currently re-doing it. That is my professional life, things I consider "work". All of the things I have been doing here have been a hobby, "pleasure", if you will. I don't make it a habit of mixing the two. If the things I do here can possibly lead to something bigger than I will definitely either create a site for them or integrate them with the things I already do. One mod at a time, I say.....
