MT.org Vic scales?
on: August 29, 2010, 06:27:32 PM
After reading a reply to the thread about VSAKCS and thinking I'd trather have a MT.org SAK than the Classic that VSAKCS give out, something clicked in my mind and I got an idea.

A bit over a year ago, Tinnie posted a bunch of pictures of Vic scales that were laser engraved -among them this:

It didn't hit me at the time, but wouldn't that be a great thing to sell in the MT.org EDCS store? Cheap initial investment, something that a LOT of people would be able to use, and a great way to show support for the site. Heck, make it plus scales and you'd even add functionality to many people's knives.

Tinnies scales were very good, and could get some pretty good detail out of them.  I know he didn't really have a permanent address, hopefully he comes back...I have some more scales I want modded.

Tinnie might be gone, but surely there are others who know where scales like this could be produced? My original idea was for MT.org to produce these and sell them
