Great job by Tinnie.  :tu:  Adding a little car wax brings a bit of extra shine to the scales but also settles into the etching and makes it 'pop' more.  Thanks again mate.  :)

Some of you may remember this;



My Camper's Special, famous ( :P) for bing the subject of my "How-to" guide.  Well in the spirit of Benedict Allen, who is quoted as carrying a white SAK, I thought it needed a face lift.  Scales provided by our very own Neil.



As an added bonus Neil also provided a tiny ferro-rod that can slip into the corkscrew, how cool it that.  :tu:

Gareth - have you done a scissors only single layer mod? I think I might throw one together for my leather sewing kit...probably with wood scales to match the stitching awl I just made.

Now I'm thinking about mounting a leather stitching awl blade to it...non-folding, the SAK body would be the handle.

Hmm...I might have to try that. I've got a spare awl blade and piles of 91mm scissors discarded from mods... :P
