At $21 I think I am better off trying the $5 county comm saw

Now I need one of those iddy bitty saws! I'm a sucker for small tools.... love the idea of miniaturising tools just for the hell of it

Has anyone else noticed the shortage of My First Victorinox knives?

The standard nylon scaled model has disappeared from the vendors I normally use and the only variation I've been able to find is the Ruby scaled version.

I wonder if Victorinox has chosen to drop the MFV.

Well Solos are still easily obtainable over here, so hopfully that's a sign that I'll still be able to get MFVs   ...  except I import those ...

Should be able to do it by having an additional pin between the outer liner and the next liner, perhaps with a bit of brass tube to the same dimensions as the main blade width to keep it all stable.  Just haven't got around to trying it yet

Just for fun, you might want to see what it would take to get a Wenger nail file to work too. Either one is going to require some ingenuity on your part, so may as well check all the options first.
