probably the worlds smallest Li-ion charger,USB.

I decided to try one of these chargers and it's that good it's replaced my two mostly used wall chargers  ;) these are custom built pre-order to your specs,mine is a 90 ma/500 ma switchable USB charger.The 90 ma is good for my 10440 3.7 volt batteries and the 500 for the higher capacity RCR123,18650,14500's in fact it'll charge any 3.7v battery  ;) the cool thing about it is: it give out a volt reading(which is refreshed every sec,so you know at a glance exactly where your battery is at.

Unplugged from your laptop it can be used as a battery tester, some other spec as follows:

Charger details:
The USB Charger is a true constant current/ constant voltage charger. Suitable for rechargeable 3.6v /3.7v li-ions.

* It will taper the current as full voltage is reached. (so you get to 4v quite quickly, and a slower finish to the charge)
* Low voltage protection (will limit current below ~2.9v to protect batteries)
* Thermal limiting
* Reverse polarity protection
* Short circuit protection
* Cut off voltage is approx 4.15v (higher ma versions typically cut off around 4.12v, lower ma versions typically cut off 4.18v)

All I can say this is a breath of fresh air to the normal cumbersome wall chargers I've used,it's much more convenient easily stored and it's travel friendly too as there's a solar panel available which you can plug the charger into,recommended  :tu:

The first pic I borrowed just so you can get a feel for how small it really is  ;)

The charger at work,

Size compared to my wall chargers,

And stored away :tu:

Is this the Sabrewolf charger John?

I'm using a very similar setup to what MWClint is using in the Sabrewolf barebones sales thread on CPF, but my 4xAA power source is optional/detachable.  It's a great portable solution, but it won't be replacing my Turnigy Accucel-6 for use at home.

It's basically the same as the Sabrewolf barebones unit I built.  The one I have will charge from USB, 4xAA, and solar is a possibility with it also.  This one is cheaper as a complete package, but doesn't charge to 4.2 like the Sabrewolf.

I don't mind that though.  It's easier on the batteries and acceptable for a portable unit.

No! it doesn't charge to 4.2 but rather 4.15 which it's been said before,batteries last longer because of that  :tu: yours must be a good charger also otherwise you'd not have mentioned it  :think:

Check out these threads for another option:

http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=240654

I bought the barebones, standalone charger board and put together a system similar to MWClint's setup in post #12 & #14.  I used alligator clips like the pre-made USB unit.

If you're going to buy a complete unit though, I think the one John has is a better and less expensive option.  However, I would recommend removing the magnets and soldering on alligator clips for a more durable setup.
