Instant Fenix Collection
on: October 31, 2010, 04:10:10 PM
Got a recent bargain on some flashlights  :D

I was initially after a Fenix LD10. My camera and GPS both run on Eneloop AA's of which I have quite a few so I wanted a AA light to match so I only need to carry one type of battery with me.

Spotted a Fenix LD10 for a great price on British Blades along with a P1D. I snapped it up and the seller kindly threw in an E01  :salute: All new in box expect the P1D but it is in top class condition. I asked him if he had any spare diffusers lying around; he packed in the white diffuser, red traffic wand and small diffuser for a small extra  :D

I now have an instant Fenix collection  :D So far I am really pleased with these lights. I may purchase an LD20 body so I can turn the LD10 into a 2 x AA light. Never even knew such a thing was possible   :ahhh

I assumed the P1D would have had a rear button for some reason but it is a twist head operation. While the white diffuser does look like a love aid it is a useful accessory. The traffic wand is also a nice add on especially on strobe  :tu:

The holsters are really useful; no pocket clips on any of the lights, no great loss though.

Nice line up.  I had a P1D once, nice light.

Can't say I'm a EO1 fan.  Solid as a rock though.  :tu:
I'm back!!

Yes, the white diffuser does look like a "love aid". lol

Pretty good range of light's for all occasions there mate :tu:

Be careful when getting a 2xAA body, as they've not all got the same thread type (as I discovered to my cost ::))
Give in, buy several Farmer's!!!!!!

Good haul there Dan

I have the white "diffuser" on my LD20.... most useful if somewhat questionable to others :D

You should get a diffuser for your E01. I use a Chapstick cap. I even made a little holder for it.
