Leatherman Wave "State of the Art"
on: November 08, 2010, 09:08:54 PM
There is a huge outdoor store in Germany called Globetrotter. They have several stores in Hamburg, Cologne, Berlin and other major cities, and are one of the major internet stores for outdoor stuff in Germany. They have a magazine for their customers which is released every 3 months.
They always have one page with a product which is regarded the one and only, the best of. The "State of the Art", how they call it. Yesterday I got the latest edition, and the "State of the Art"-Article is about the Leatherman Wave.
It has a short introduction on Leatherman as a company, their product line, and a short description of all the tools on the wave, and why it is considered as THE multitool.
You can find it if you go to http://www.4-seasons.de/magazin/issues/28_2010/flash/index.php?onlinekatpage=1 and then look for the link to "Leatherman Wave" (or flip through the magazine to page 74)

There was the Deuter "Trans Alpine 35" backpack, Teva Sandals "Terra-Fi 3", Primus cooker "Eta Power", Haglöfs "Lim Ultimate Jacket", Hilleberg "Nammatji 3" tent, and Hanwag "Alaska GTX" shoes.

I found the article on the wave as PDF, here it is (but still in German):
