Same here, AHB.  It boggles my mind that Halloween and Christmas stuff are out simultaneously.

How many of you will be shopping on Black Friday?  Or perhaps I'd do well to create a new thread on that, huh?

They've been playing Christmas carols in the stores here for a couple of weeks.

It's starting over here now with the decoration. The Christmas stuff is on sale since the beginning of September (ginger bread, marcipane and all that). I am expecting to hear "Last Christmas" on the radio any day now.

I am getting the christmas decoration out of the boxes in the last November week.

I used to be very "humbug" over Christmas in general but since having children its more fun :)

I still can't being doing with it in November though.  If you dilute things too much they lose their impact. I wish folks would keep the celebrations in December.
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

I agree.  By the time it comes around I'm sick of hearing about it.

Gotta do my christmas shopping this weekend if its going to get back to the UK in time for the big day.

I went to Manila last Nov. 12-15, 2010. On the 2nd day we went to the 3rd largest mall in the world, the Mall of Asia. There are already Christmas decor everywhere inside the mall.

An artificial tree full of LED lights.

Amen, I know that Christmas is too commercialized but I refuse to let that ruin my fun. I just go to stores when they're not busy and have few problems with crowds or rude people. I don't get all holy nor anything but I do think that Christmas is a great time to reconnect with family and friends. Seeing my son enjoy Christmas is one of the best things I've ever experienced.

At the back is the skating rink of the mall.

I giant Christmas tree outside the mall.

I put out the Christmas decoration at home this weekend. First Advent is the right time to decorate the living room. We don't have much stuff, just a few little items. And we spend Christmas not at home, so no tree at all.
