I hear you Mike! If you use your EDC lights more than 1 hour a day the E05 might not be that great. I use my EDC lights about 1 minute a day on average.
Looking forward to the update I'm still a little torn about the E05 I want one (really, really do!), but I'm unsure if I'd edc one given the low runtime Having said that, it would make a great back up light for those who edc a E01/ArcP for those rare occasions when they need that bit more punch

AAA, flood optic, Cree XP-G emitter......and you can have it in virtually any output you want! Of course, it's more expensive and larger, but very high quality.One thing that disturbs me with the E05 is that the plastic optic is not protected.
I see your point Mike. Its sad you guys have to go through all that. If it were the same here in the USA I would probably only have two lights.
Yep.. that's my baby! They come in a R2 & R4 version as well. Mike, in my dark Barn test I could see the other side clearly. My guess is the throw is a good 40 to 50 foot & maybe more depending on your eyes & darkness level. Here in the country it gets dark unless we have a full moon.
