CS Voyager series cancelled for now

Probably old news for some, but I never knew this http://www.coldsteel.com/voyager-series.html.

Just goes to show you shouldn't mess with a classic that works so well.  The original design is awesome!  Guessing only old stock Voyagers are available ATM then?

I have to say I'm not really surprised.  Part of the huge appeal (for me anyway) with the original Voyager was the sheer basics, it's simple lines and it's reliablity.  This new one has a fancy lock and has bit's cut into it which spoils it I think.

I am hoping they scrap the whole thing and go back to the original design.

At least they give there products a long life in there range, rather than just a couple of years like some do

I guess they must have changed the link, I'm not getting any news about the new
Voyager series?  Anyhow, I've really got to grab one of the old one's sometime, I've
never had the pleasure of owning one of those.
I know last year they did delay them.

The link says the following;

The new Voyagers and Gunsites have been CANCELLED because they did not meet our specifications or delivery schedule requirements. All backorders will be CANCELLED and the Voyagers will be reintroduced in Spring 2011. We will have more information on the 2011 Voyagers at a later date.

Thanks for that.  They have been having issues with those for awhile now.  You don't see
many used Voyagers for sale do you?  I think I'd go for the 4 incher in clip or tanto.

4" clip in plain edge is what I want, but you don't see many of them like you say.

I have a 3" tanto and it is a bloody good knife. 0 bs.
