RCR123A Batteries

Happy Holiday's Everyone! Anyone using these rechargeable's? If so what to get/avoid in this area? How happy are you with them as far as performance/leakage problems? Thank's

I use them, what are you wanting to power with them?  I wouldn't buy any more.  I
have 8 of the Tenergy units and the biggest drawback I find with them is runtime which
is not as long as some of the other battery options. :)

Runtime's the problem. 18650s are far better than RCRs. :tu:

If you're using a 2xCR123 light that will take 18650, you're much better off going that route.  The capacity of RCR123 cells is really poor, and will typically only give you about 1/2 the runtime of a good 18650.  If you must buy RCR123, AW brand is the best, IMO, but not cheap by any means.

Always buy protected cells!

Thanks everyone. My RC-N3 only uses one. I guess I will stick with 2 Eneloop rechargeable AA's.
