I know he feels far from lucky Saz but I reckon your Dad is one 'lucky smurfer' buy him a blue & white hat/helmet( :P) n call him ; 'Lucky Smurf'  :D :D.

I just wanted to give an update:  the rods and pins have been removed and he's only wearing two soft, removable compression wraps now.  Likewise, he can drive, too. :)

Aside from that, the ice today has kicked my butt, I fell twice, dented my Klean Kanteen, and have injured my right shoulder/arm/elbow.  I'm fine, just stiff, in pain, and lacking major grip in my hand without pain.

I love snow; I hate ice.  :rant:

Glad to hear your father's on the mend.

Did you get him the helmet :P
