I'm pretty certain what this is, is that this guy has a lot of SAKs and multitools to sell, and so he listed them for sale on a forum that caters to SAK and multitool enthusiasts.  Seems pretty straightforward to me?

He has items for sale, has provided pictures and a price.  About the only thing missing seems to be an itemized list, which presumably he would offer to a potential buyer, so folks don't try and pick it apart and make offers on individual pieces, since he wants to sell as a whole.

I'm not trying to bash this thread or anything. In fact I really want to see this sale happen. The confusing part is that while I'm sure some people have spent $35000 on MT, I haven't heard of anyone doing it at once. The way I could see this sale happening is if a dealer buys it and resells the tools. Actually that's a really good idea. Catman?

I hope I have not hurt anybody's feelings over that post. I scour eBay all the time for interesting SAK's as well as to see what everyone else is buying and what prices are being paid. I also spot some SAK's that someone I know might be interested in and send them a link to it(as long as I am not going to bid on it).

I spotted an eBay auction photo of one of this persons photos he uploaded of items he is selling and noticed he is very actively buying SAK's on eBay and wondered why is he selling it all off? I posted info that is available to the public found on eBay about this seller.

I certainly am interested in some of his items, but really is there any expectation to find someone here willing to shell out $35,000 for a large lot of items that you can barely even see in the photos. I sent PM's about them. He only wants to sell as a lot. No detailed photos, no details about knives in the lot, nada, nothing, zip.

I do wish sak17 all the best with his sale but in today's joyful climate it could prove difficult to bulk sell for $35k on the back of internet pics. Can't even imagine how the actual shipping would work 

Splitting them may involve more work but will most definitely secure more revenue

True- we don't see much of this here, but does that make it wrong?  Some of the comments here have (from what I've seen) have been kind of discouraging (not pointing fingers!) which I thought was a bit unfair.

Good lord....that is about as huge a collection of the shop in Seoul, South Korea, that I used to plunder.....

Seller: you need to make LOTS of individual pics and put out an itemized list.   That will get you buyers.
