Indeed. This tool is just an "advanced" pocket wire cutter of sorts... If the question is who'd use this tool, that would be people working with very-heavy-gauge fencing wire, such as concertina. Concertina wire is primarily used to build barbed wire fences in military camps and secure facilities around here, so possible users would include either the guys building the fences, or those trying to cut them up and break in...

Will this cut stranded wire rope? (aircraft cable?)

Grant and I played with one at the Shot Show a couple years ago. They had some actual razor wire (enclosed behind plexiglass so no one would get hurt) that we did test cuts on. It worked great. The Concertina Cutter packs a lot of leverage/mechanical advantage into a compact package.


(I'm not sure if it would cut braided cable though. My guess is probably not)
