A few pix of RC Tamiya tanks I've built
First a 1/35 Panther
And a 1/24 Chieftan
There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!

Wow those are really cool. They look like a lot of fun.

I think Alcohol, Tabacco and Firearms should be a convenience store, not a government agency.

Nice tanks!
I used to build model kits when I was younger, but gravitated more towards planes, cars and fantasy/sci fi models. I built a couple of armor kits, but the one I remember most was an old Soviet T55. What a beast that was! Armor is such a different animal than the other types of models I'd built that I really felt I wasn't doing it properly and I don't think I built another after that. I did however convert a Ferrarri F40 to a police car after seeing a similar type thing done in the FSM gallery. In that issue they showed a diorama of a police garage where the cops were painting up a Lamborghini (probably a Countache in those days!) with the CHP colors/shield, and it said something about how the cops had faster cars than Hollywood.
After that I converted a lot of car models to CHP and other police agencies (CHP was great because you could get decals for CHP almost anywhere!), then I started looking at pictures of police graphics on cars and other vehicles everywhere. There are some nice cop cars out there, and I'm sure if any force had the number of helicopters, cars, bikes and boats I created, there would be no crime!

I used to share this hobby as well, like Grant, mostly cars and planes... never got into armour but it was always appealing... I think car and plane kits were just easier to find.
that's some fine handy work there.

I had hundreds of D&D miniatures, although most were dragons. I love dragons, and had Tiamat (two actually, one lead, one pewter), Bahamut and the Great Red Dragon:
I didn't play much D&D though, I just loved the miniatures!

Now that you mention it, the one on the left does look an awful lot like Dunc... although I can't be sure as he seems to be trying to hide his face. He must have seen you coming with the camera and didn't want the Coast Guard to know he was moonlighting!
