Nice work Bob :D

Things are improving :tu:  I'm no longer trying to wish myself unconscious.  Bloody hell can teeth hurt!!!  Thanks for all the best wishes :tu:

Warning... boring bit but included for those with professional and or morbid curiosity...
Turns out the pain nerves in my mouth are proper weird and don't let me know where the real damage is   Really smurfing useful ::)  I've had pain on both the top and bottom jaws right hand side between the wisdom teeth and the canines.
My dentist is a top bloke though and three x-rays later figures out the best bet for the source of the problem.  Hidden decay below the surface of the top right wisdom tooth and the molar next to it.  So I've had the area drilled out and packed with some local anaesthetic stuff (clove based I'd guess) and temporary covered over.   That seems to be bringing things under control so hopefully it'll all get gutted and sealed up properly on Tuesday next.

I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

I've had that 'displaced pain' as well. :-\  Spent one night packing Bonjela onto an incredibly sore tooth in my lower jaw, no effect whatsoever.  Finally got some sleep when I just sucked on a couple of cloves from the spice rack. ::)  Well it turns out that it was a tooth in my top jaw giving me the issues and I was putting the numbing meds in totally the wrong place. :(

Glad to hear they've found it though. :tu:

Are you a redhead (or are there a lot of redheads in your lineage?) Some recent data suggests that aberrant innervation of the cranial nerves is more common in redheads.

Not ginger myself but go back a couple of generations and they can be found so maybe maybe.    Definitely feeling better.  I look forward to Tuesday and getting rid of the temporary covering; I'm paranoid of breaking it ... again  :-[
