Have a question about diver's watch
on: March 10, 2011, 10:43:16 PM
Looking thru the owner manual for my Orange Monster it tells me to have it "tested" every two to three years.

Gaskets and seals replaced etc...   Has anyone here done that or is that only for "real" diving individual and not the person that swims and showers in them.

I have 2 watches that are water resistant. Each time they have a battery replacement, seals are also replaced and the watch pressure tested.
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.

If you just use it for swimming and showering you really don’t need to do that and the perfect time to do it is when it’s time to replace the battery on it. So to answer your question, if you are a “real” diving individual then follow the service routine by the manufacturer like your life depended upon it.
There is no problem that cannot be solved by the use of high explosives.
