I entered a competition in work for iPad last month. I thought I had as good chance as everyone else.

I didn't win  Me sad

Do you think they will ever do an iPod Touch 3G?

I would love an iPhone but I have a mobile phone provided by work. They cover all calls so to spend big money on an iPhone would be a waste for me. Basically I'd want everything the iPhone has but without the calls. An iPod Touch with some sort of sim card to allow an internet connection on the go  :tu:

Best bet would be a Touch and a mifi :tu:

I like the sound of that  :tu:

I have a Vodafone USB Dongle for work like below. Just plug into laptop when out and about; I'm thinking if I could hook into that somehow
(Image removed from quote.)

There is no USB on the ipad as far as I know.
There is no problem that cannot be solved by the use of high explosives.

Not directly but if you grab an unlocked mifi off ebay you could then put your works sim from the vodafone dongle into the mifi and surf on their dime ;)
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

As much of an android fan I am..... I bought an iPad.  Mainly for my wife but it's turning into a family gift...  I still would take android over apple though but apple has made a nit of nice hardware....

I have had an original iPad for 10 months now and use it everyday. With the iPad2 being released last Friday I looked into the idea of upgrading , and decided I could live with mine until iPad 3 comes out in 2012 with the Retina display.

Interesting note an iPad2 sold for $4000 on eBay on Sunday !

With shipping delays increasing to 3-4 weeks, others are turning to eBay to get the tablet computer of their dreams, spending up to US $4,000 (with free shipping!) for the privilege. The $4,000 auction is for a 64GB model. Others are trying to sell iPad 2s on eBay for up to US $200,000 (including $0.01 shipping), although that looks like one Buy it Now price that may not result in a sale. Others are more realistically asking a US $200 premium for most models, promising full availability of all models.

Why do I carry a 45 ?

isn't the MSRP already $3999?
The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.
