What sort of tools would a MTO astromech have?

We all love Star Wars :twak:, and everyone loves an R2 unit... so... what tools would you want on a customized MTO astromech?

Need inspiration?  http://astromech.net/?q=gallery

This is clearly just for fun, unless someone has a lot of free time on a CNC machine they are willing to donate :P

The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.

I like the laser welder and circular saw the standard Astromech comes with, but it would also be nice to have a bottle opener, screwdriver set and some pincers capable of cutting heavy wire.

I think it would also be cool if it had a camera, flashlight and usb interface!

I'd like an R4 unit with upgraded hyperspace co-ordinate computer, plus fire extinguisher, light saber mount (with light saber), and bottle opener, plus an X-Wing.

Oh, you meant in real life... hmm, well in that case, I'd like an R4 unit with upgraded hyperspace co-ordinate computer, plus fire extinguisher, light saber mount (with light saber), and bottle opener, plus an X-Wing.  :D

There was an astromech in one of the Wraith squadron books that was modded with a mini-fridge and dispenser. I forget the droid's designation, but it was "Droid, cold one!", and out would pop a drink.

I believe the droid was Face's and I'm pretty certain his name was Vape.

Yub yub Commander.

Hah, that sounds about right. Tried looking for it on Wookiepeedia, but no luck. Always loved Allston's writing :)

I love that series.  I'd love to see more of the Wraiths, and I thought it was awesome they had a part in the Yuuzhan Vong War.

Sometimes I wonder if I should be allowed out in public....
