CL mentioned the value of all the knives to be over $1,000 so yeah, $4,000 does seem a bit high. I don't think there are any outstanding knives though... a couple of Spydercs, red-class Benchmades, SAKs, etc. It's for charity though so that's good.

I certainly wouldn't heavily overpay for something no matter how hard someone sells it. MT.O forums has taught me to be a smart shopper. It's weird, the bid history shows a couple of new bidders with zero feedback constantly bumping up the price by hundreds of dollars. I'm wondering if those are shill bidders..
