I believe they are the same tools that Coast brands as their own, and they are just cheap Chinese models. This is sadly the direction most companies go in when marketing a multitool or knife, not realizing the damage they are doing to themselves.

Ok better stay clear then. I have a couple of their spanners and socket drivers and they are fine though.

Real tools and multitools are sadly two very different things. You'd think a tool manufacturer would know better, but oh well... If they want to hurt their brand/image, who am I to argue?

Its too bad that Snap On decided to go the cheap Chinese route with the MT. Many of their pocket knives are made by Kershaw, decidedly not a low quality knife maker.

That's really sad to see given their reputation. I used to work on Aircraft, and Snap on is the absolute best throughout the field, rivaled only my MAC or Matco, and even then it's not very close. Their warranty surpasses even Leatherman's, and their quality is tops. I can't believe they would do something so stupid as to put their logo on....THAT.
I once had a pair of duckbill pliers. My dad found them in a ditch with no rubber on the handles. I showed them to the snap on rep when he came to my Hangar, and he said they were definitely snap on pliers due to the profile, and since they had chipped, he gave me a brand new pair. Awesome company.
