Hmmm ... I must admit I did think a triangular marlin spike was a little odd, but although I have no vetarinary knowledge, I would have thought a spiky belly stabbing, let the big bubble out device would be tubular rather than solid, or at least hevily fluted. Also does it really need to be THAT long and curved?
An odd one for sure. Also odd that the blade is mounted sideways on as if sideways pressure it meant to be used rather than just on the point or on what you would normally expect to be the "edge". I reckon this needs putting in the "SAK multi-purpose hook"" category - several potential reasons for putting it there, most of which never get used in any actuality, but it's there if you ever find a use for it
