school me on Powerlock plier heads
on: April 25, 2011, 11:53:17 PM
I received today my 4th Powerlock, this time an S61-L EOD flavor.  The plier head is different from those I already have in the arsenal.  Is a matte/satin finish, has a larger cutting surface, is more of a needle nose, and is cast a little different than its predecessors.  At least the predecessor I have.

So is this plier head standard on all Powerlocks, or is it unique to the EOD version?  Just trying to learn.  See pics.

thanks
me

Dailysteals.com.  It was there for a little while, but its no longer on the site.  I think it was $34.95 +s/h.

Yep. It looks like SOG took some of the ideas from the Paladin line when redoing their own line.

So it looks like you have the original plier head and the next generation that is the 2.0 plier head currently in production
