Customizing LM and, LM bit kit
on: May 11, 2011, 04:54:32 AM
Hi,

I was wondering if one can replace flat head screwdriver on LM Charge with Awl?
Will it fit properly?
Has one try to make one of the bit of LM into an awl shape tool? i.e. using hex bit and shaving off metals to make an awl shape bit?

Also, Is there anyway one can utilize LM bit kit with Vic Spirit? I love the versatility of the LM bit kit.

Thank you

Actually, I just ground down the flathead into an awl with a Dremel, File and sharpening stone. Worked out pretty good too!

Another thing, with the MUT Bit Kit now available, the longer bits make some good starting stock for customization. And for only $5.00...
Never underestimate the power of the fleece

I too would like photovisual proof of your attempts to reforge a Leatherman into some strange monster. Or it didn't happen.
