Byrd knives fan club

Ok guys, I know there are some threads with pro's and con's to Byrd knives and Byrd vs. Spyderco knives, but I'd like this to be Byrd knives only thread...

I just got me a Byrd Meadowlark G10 and Byrd Wings G10, and I think they are awesom EDC user knives... That's what it is all about for me, using them with no hold backs... So here are pics of my two Byrdies, and I'll get more of them for sure!!

Byrd Meadowlark G10. Just the right size for EDC, and razor sharp out of the box...

And Byrd Wings G10. Which is great for my work site where I need sometimes serrated edge to cut some hard to cut stuff... Also is great for vechicle safety and rescue jobs.

Im a fan but sold the ones i had, i will pick another up soon i hope, i fancy a SS robin , those look nice mate, i had a FRN rescue straight blade meadowlark, i do like the look of the wings,

I EDC Wings at the moment... At work site... It supplements my SOG Powerlock quite nice, and I'm happy to know there is some serious cutting capability with that serrated blade...

how big is it closed Gojkan is it a bit big for pocket carry,

More or less it's Tenacious sized, though bit thicker, but OK for working trousers with those big pockets...

I'd say it's perfect for backpack, BOB, E&E kit, car, etc...

I only have one Byrd; it's a G10 Raven. I bought it when the Byrd line was first introduced. Nice knives for the money. It took some time getting used to the "comet hole" but now it feels just as normal as my Spydies.

Yeah, Byrds are great. I still prefer Spyderco, but I like all my Byrd knives.

Another fan here. I have an FRN handle Meadowlark. Awesome knives and an even better value. I'd like to get a Robin at some point.

Me too. Does it come in G10? I don't like the 1st generation clip-point Meadowlark but the 2nd gen version looks really nice. I'm might get one of those as well.

I like Byrd knives. Great value for the money and the quality is generally excellent. I do wish they came without steel liners, though.

Oh yeah the Catbyrd. Big, heavy, hard as hell to close because of the stiff, stiff,
heavy liner lock. Nice full flat grind on that blade though and a great slicer.

I got a UKPK recently, but for some reason the Wings Slipit keeps finding it's way into my pocket. It might actually be because of the steel liners, they do make the knife feel robust. The only other Byrd I've had is the Firebyrd which was .... different.
