Ive just orderded a sog micro toolclip, ive wanted one for ages ,this is my first sog and i wanted a small plier based small MT to be a legal uk edc, ive read chako's great review, but i wondered on folks on heres views, of course ill have one in a few days so ill let you know what i think as well, some pics too keep me going would be nice  ;)  :salute:

 :mail:  :ahhh  :ahhh well it came today, ive not really had a good look at it yet as the wife here today so been busy and i worked last night so tired, ill check it out thursday , overal though i like it and its been im my back pocket since i took it out of its box  ;)

Well just had a litle fiddle with the micro toolclip, all seems ok , i like its size, the clip is usefull,my only gripe at this moment is the play in the plier, i guess tightening the allen bolts will sort this, only problem is i only have 1 in that size and need 2  :ahhh  ill have to search my toolbox thursday,  :tu:

well i used it around the house today, ive found it preet handy, the phillips is fiddly and TBH pretty useless, but its kind of there if you was desperate and could fit it in ,the file is ok, short but works, the blade is ok i sharpended it up a bit more but, i used both flatheads, both ok but of course slipped in a few times as non locking, now for the pliers one of the main reasons i got one of these, ok i need to buy 2 allen keys to tighten the pliers up a bit, but they still cut through a zip ties with no problem but failed on the brake cable, TBH my wave failed on this the other day when i found a dumped mountain bike on my travels and i wanted the old canterlever brakes for my other old mountain bike, but i have used the waves wire cutters many times so i guess there worn out , possibly if tightened the sogs might be ok, ill test that once i tighten them up, all in all i really like this little MT, its my new EDCat the moment, and if i ever got searched i would rather the took this off me than my wave,  :tu:

It looks on the small side, how about pics next to wave for size comparison? how sturdy are the pliers, I like they being blunt nose...

just noticed how dirty my wave is  :D although used it to attempt to dismantal a dump bike yesterday, the pliers just wasnt wide enough to remove the old headset  :D im like a cylcist scavenger  ;)

The phillips worked a treat in this situation, ie i could turn the handle to tighten it up  :D

of course not gareth, i got it from ant supplies, but sadly i think i got the last one, tim usualy re-stocks pretty quickly though  :tu:
