You have to wonder whether international tracking is really worth it. According to DHL's tracking service, the above package is still in Frankfurt.

Even though it's just been pushed through my mailbox  :facepalm:

I ordered one of these Rough Rider knife making kits, more out of curiosity than anything else: http://www.heinnie.com/rough-rider-custom-shop-knife-kit-cs1



According to the reviews on Heinnie they take a bit of fiddling with so hopefully it will be a bit more interesting than simply clicking together.

Anyone else tried these kits? Are they fun / any good?

Just getting into knives after owning a plain old Buck 110 for a few years.
So I lashed out a bit and have ordered -
Buck vantage pro
Kershaw Skyline
SOG flash II
I'm in Australia and have ordered from the States so I'll be waiting a while .
Not sure on the laws here, but I think assisted openers may be illegal now but we will see if the SOG gets through customs. Fingers crossed!

Looks great that!

I have an alox Cadet coming tomorrow but its not staying. It's straight off to the engravers, and by Friday afternoon it will be presented to a young lad that my partner has been child-minder for, for years and years. He's been coming to us since he was 2 or 3 years old, and as from tomorrow he's old enough to go home by himself and wait for his parents to return from work. I predict tears .....

We checked with his mother that it was OK to give him a SAK as a leaving present and she thought it was a great idea  :tu:
