SInce I decided that my Master Gardener will enter EDC rotation, I ordered two five packs of Renata CR1225 batteries for the light from Home Depot just so I won't have the fiasco with CR1216s that I had locally with the MicroLight Esquire (I had to go to two different local stores that sold watch batteries to buy two batteries, and it cost about $6). I decided that since I was buying online, I'd buy the OEM. At $2 each, these were cheaper than the Energizers were locally, plus they're the OEM brand, which I have never seen in a store here.

I have bought a few different sized Renata batteries (for lights & car remotes).  I think they are one of (or perhaps) the best quality button batteries currently on the market.  But not usually very cheap, so it's worth shopping around for a good source.

I've had this impulse purchase period in the past two weeks, so I have quite a few things arriving in the coming days, weeks.

Although I always found the Delica 4 a bit pricey for what it is, recenty I pulled the trigger on one, I'm expecting it in the next few days. I also ordered the LM American Red Cross Charge Prep Kit for the tool itself (the headlamp will be sold off), my Florida friend will post it tomorrow, along with a Vic Explorer which was an Amazon Warehouse Deal for a nice low price. (Hoping to get that modded into a Yeoman at some point down the road.)

Also, I netted a Swisschamp in ThePeacent's recent sale, tomorrow it starts its journey to me. To keep the wife happy after all these "unnecessary" purchases, yesterday I bought her a used Wenger Commander with 90's style black and neon color painted scales from a local auction site, and as the seller had a nice, Switzerland's 700-year jubilee edition Wenger Esquire, that sneaked its way into the order as well...

Oh, almost forgot: a pair of new plus scales for the Swisschamp and the Explorer. The latter comes with Boy Scouts scales, but I'll swap them for white ones.

Christmas comes early to the Exeter household, but on the other hand, I guess it will be a couple of lean months from blades, SAK and MT purchase perspective, otherwise I can prepare for divorce...

Another Taylor's Eye Witness, but this time of modern manufacture, from a US seller and brand new. It appears to be a 260 "Clip Blade" which looks to be the same pattern as their more expensive Barlow (which is finer finished, fileworked, and with wood scales).  It cost $22 shipped, while they're 27GBP in the UK, or about $38 not factoring in the probably ten bucks it will cost to ship it.

That is so funny (in a good way).   :D

For anyone wondering why, bdammo and I have been organising a trade because he wanted a PST with the angular font "OO" and I was sending him one because he couldn't find one, and now he has found (and bought) one himself !!!  I presume he still wants the one I was intending to send (it is a PST BO CC), and if he doesn't he better say so real soon (I'm about to send his on Monday).

I've got the Knipex bite again and ordered these two

- Knipex 78 91 125 Electronic Super Knips

I've got a lot of use out of my old one from the late 80's, and it still works. But it got it's scars...

Aaaand one of these because I need to stop abusing my regular cutters

- Knipex 71 12 200 CoBolt compact bolt cutters

 :ahhh

I'll going to the post office after work to post it, so it'll be on it's way in about 2 1/2 hours time. 1st class registered post that I am sending it by guarantees next day delivery before 1pm, so you will have it tomorrow.

I'll PM you the tracking ID as soon as it's on the way.
