Very nice.  Those are really some of the neatest tools.  Congrats.

I have a Memphis Belle Huntsmen on its way to me from DLT Trading.
I think Alcohol, Tabacco and Firearms should be a convenience store, not a government agency.

I do really like the military aviation ones they've been doing. My favorite is the Spitfire version.

I've got this used lot on the way. Cost me $25, when I was hoping it get it under $20.

In are three SAKs (Waiter, Bantam, Classic SD), a Leatherman PST (pre-1993), a Schrade/Parker Frost Bicentennial Knife, a Gerber AR 3.0, and a cheap lockback.

These were recently mentioned in the SOG Parashears thread, so I decided to try them. For cutting heavy material, I like trauma shears. One, because they are designed specifically to cut such things. Though, for me, it's not clothing, plasters, and bandages--it's rope, fuel lines, brush, etc. Clothing gets cut when I'm using old sweatpants or a T-Shirt to make grease rags.  Secondly, they're blunt tip. And the right angle makes heavy cutting easy; electrician's snips often cut thick material well, but with the non-coated handles on mine--it's painful.  Pruning shears aren't worth a hoot when it comes to general use (outside of brush), and good ones cost the same as the X-Shears, so I decided to try them.

My only concern is the 420J2 blade steel--it's part of the reason I have yet to own an import Buck. It's rustproof, but a horrid blade steel.

I had an Amazon gift card, so I ordered it from there instead of the website. Black was $4 more, and orange and blue were out of stock, so I got stuck with green. Still, it doesn't blend in with the orange ATV (whose tailgate I typically use as a workbench), and is still a high-viz color.

I am interested in trauma shears too. Let us know what you think, once you get them!  :like:

I have another Morakniv fixed blade coming in. I have one so far, but have not really carried it. It lived in my Emergency backpack until i got it out yesterday. I really like the light weight and it is sharp as hell. Heard a lot of good things about these knives, so i am excited to carry it some more. The new one has some orange on it for high visibility and will find its new home in the emergency backpack.

Not me but the kid just bought himself a little something that will be on it’s way, it gets dropped off and he gets two weeks to go over it, have it checked out, and figure if he wants to keep it or send it back,
A 2013 camaro, it’s a stick not auto which he wants, only a V6 but you can buy a chip which you plug in the computer and it fine tunes it and not only adds up to now supposedly 60hp but also 6mpg efficiency, so you know he’s getting that, plus a better air intake which will also add hp, so it won’t be too much lower then the V8SS,
Here’s a pic of his, it’s a light silver with black stripes.
