My personal challenge is to re-read all the books before I see the last movie. I'm just over three quarters through the Goblet Of Fire right now (page 720 of 960 I think) so it should be possible. I doubt I'll see it opening night since the wife doesn't like Harry Potter, and the friend I will probably see it with is painfully cheap and will only go on half price nights!

If there's an advance showing of Captain America, you can bet I'll be there though!

Dude, I am soooo happy that I'm not the only Harry Potter fan here! I made myself wait to see the first round of Deathly Hallows until last month, so that it would be fresh in my mind when I went to see the finale. I am pumped, the movies have been great!

I made an effort to ignore the books until after the movies were over because the last time I read a book before seeing the movie, I was totally smurfed at the director for botching it and erasing half the book.

Took the family of four to the midnight show. Stood in line for a while to get in because they didn't plan well for the crowd of people they pre-sold tickets to. It was good. I'm still smurfed at the director for not following the book.
