The citizens of Israel have been suffering from terrorist attacks for years.
Maybe now that the rest of the world is getting exposed we will all start doing something about it.
That is to say, I wish that these kinds of things wouldn't happen at all.

Terrorists do suck.

I have been waiting for this moment for many years now since Norway have always been a blue eyed country living in a illusion that things like this will never happen. The national security agency in Norway have been saying for years that they are so underfunded that it's a threat to national security.

Live on Al Jazeera English

Almost 10 years after 9/11, a war ever since, when will this insanity end?

EDIT: OP, you messed up the title a bit. :\ Can a mod/admin maybe correct it?

Not a popular thing to say, but something (not what they are doing now) needs to be done about it, and being politically correct isn't helping.

You are quite right there.

It was a twin attack, there was shooting attack on young people at a governing Labour Party youth camp

Takk Allan :)

The cops have arrested a man that was ethnic Norwegian so perhaps this was a right wing extremist and not a jihadist even if it's a Jihad group that have taken the credit for this.

This is sad to see  :(. I hope that those responsible are caught quickly and brought to justice.

Just learned that a friend of mine was injured in the attack, not serious but he is alive.

I hope that your friend is OK. I lost a very good friend in the South Tower on 9/11.

He is OK and is home right now with his family.

Don't really know the extent of how many where killed but the number is 17 right now but there are several people that are critical injured and don't know if they will live or not. So when comparing it to the NYC, Madrid and London attacks this is a small attack.

Well I know what they could do to him, but I won't elucidate further out of the respect that this is a family forum.

So basically another Timothy McVeigh.

Sorry to hear about your friend. How is he doing Medic82?

I lived in Norway for 6 years. A nation that is always one of the first to step up and help other nations when they are in crises and has a very tolerant and peaceful society does not deserve this. No country deserves this.

Min taker er med alle folk i Norge. (My thoughts are with the Norwegian people)

My friend is OK, he got some shrapnel in his back and legs from the explosion, but he is home now and with his family. He have some tours of duty in Afghanistan so he is a tough guy mentally and physically and not his first time in an explosion.

I went down to the city to try and get a look at place but the police have sealed of a large area around where the bomb went off. They are speculating that the building have major damage to the structure so they have to tear it down.

One of the many barricades the police have set up.

One of the streets leading down to the bomb site.

You can see the building that was the target just behind the church

The building that was the target of the terrorist from another angle.

The top of the building is where the prime minister have his office.
