These two are my favorite flood-to-throw LED flashlights.

IIRC that's the little Romisen that Tony owns, it's a cracking light. :tu:  I don't own many FTT lights but of the ones I do have I like this 2xAAA Wild Cat the most.

not even close to being a bright or modern light but I do like the form factor and the FTT feature. :)
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

I also like that slim and sleek light, Gareth. Is the focus sliding like my UF in my pics above?

Nice pictures Edap   :salute:

As Gareth says I do own one of those Romisen's It's my 'dog walking' light that gets used very occasionally
Fun to play around with, a good throw (but it does project the shape of the emitter/LED)  and I love the flood on this one, there's no rings or donuts  :tu:
Everything’s adjustable

Sipik Sk68.  Cheap, reliable, works with NiMHs, Alkalines and 14500s, and has excellent heatsinking.  Ugly as anything, but I don't really care about that too much.

Tony, do you use primary CR123 or the rechargeable RCR123 on your FTT Romisen?

A quick shop at DX (yes, I know that's an oxymoron) would sort out your RCR needs... well worth doing when you like to play with bright things :D

I haven't got any FTT lights but have been considering getting one. Anything out there with a higher output?

Chris,

I will be bringing my Romisen to the meet for a play if you want to try it out  :tu:

I have no idea of the output but it was from the cheap end of the market   ;)
