I've been thinking about getting a knifeless Fuse for my son for Scouts, and also so he could keep it in his school pack if he wanted.I'll pass on the Streamlight though... I'm a tint snob and don't do cool whites.

Different schools have different rules so it might be worth giving them a call and checking before your son takes one to school with him.
Here in Israel students have to bring their own scissors to school with them...
