I've always been fustrated by how few SAKs have Philips drivers. Its very rare at work to come across flat headed screws.I've seen other members who've done mods to fit 1/4 inch driver socket to the flat driver/caplifters on thier SAKs,but this is my lazy man variation!
Mix up enough 2 part epoxy putty to fill the driver side of the socket, and well fill it!Close to hand you should have a SAK with the driver/caplifter lubricated with vasaline(putty has difficulty gripping on to the vasaline
),insert the caplifter firmly and quickly(this is sounding so BAD),and gently withdraw.
This should give a tight fit(once the putty is dry of course). And then you can use philips, hex and torx bits to your hearts content!
