Kershaw Skyline clip screws
on: September 04, 2011, 01:20:57 AM
I just recieved a Kershaw Skyline. Seems to be a nice, light knife. Right out of the box one of the screws that hold the clip to the knife was loose. I looked at the screw with a magnifing glass and could not tell if they were torx or allen head. Pretty small. Can anyone help? Torx or allen head and what size? I don't want to send it back since I just got it.

It's a Torx, T-6. Great knife, probably my favorite EDC folder. Enjoy!

Thank you. I was just sitting here at the computer flipping open the knife. So far I like it alot. Just feels good in my hand, and I like the size and shape of the blade. Winner. My 17 year old son wants a made in USA knife for his birthday in a couple of months. Guess what he's getting from the old man?

I like the made in the USA on the blade too. I know about knife addiction, I started buying Spyderco knives a few months ago. I'm up to six so far, plus a Buck. And now the Skyline. So, I might as well introduce myself: "Hi I'm Chris, and I'm addicted to  well made sharp things" And Nutnfancy videos on YouTube!

Ok, my bad I've only purchased 5, not 6 Spydies in the last couple of months. Here's my list so far: 1. Tenacious 2. Centofante 3 3. Delica FFG in blue. 4. Endura FFG in gray 5. Persistance. The last Spyderco that I want in the near future is the Native. I'd like to have one made in Golden CO. Just cuz. I have also purchased a Buck Redpoint in black, my Kershaw Skyline and a Leatherman Blast. My wife wanted my Kick to keep in her purse, so I had to replace it!  What can I say? I like knives and multi tools. Thats why I'm here with you guys!. My wife is ok with it. It's alot cheaper than buying motorcycles. ( I have three bikes! )
